Yourtale Ch2

-Snowdin Forest-


You walked out of the ruins. The wind blows, this makes you feeling cold. and it seems Chara is feeling the cold as well.


{Ugh... i hate this place, let's go to the town}


You nod and walk with her. You start to look around you. The trees, bushes, and grounds seems to be covered by snow and abandoned. You finally arrived at a bridge, but it's broken.


{Huh... weird, it was still in one piece when the last time they come in}


You examine the bridge some more and the bars catch your attention. It's so wide, is this bar was built to stop something?. You didn't knew.


{Hmmm it seems we have to take a long turn}


You asked Chara how long is it.


{Uuuhhh... about 2-4 days?}


You sweatdrop, it seems taking a long turn is not an option. You walk to the broken bridge and stare into the gasp. It's so deep and it seems like it's staring back at you. You think of an idea.


{Well... if you're not taking the long way, the only way is to jump hehehe}


She giggles as she made a little joke. But that gives you an idea, you walk back as far as you can.


{Uh... where are you going?}


You prepare to run.


{Why suddenly i have a bad feeling.... wait, don't tell me!}


You run to the bridge with full speed.


{THAT'S A BAD IDEAAAA!!!!}


You jump!


You float in the air like a feather blown by the wind. And you realize something that makes your face go pale. You only halfway there. You scream as you fall. But suddenly a rope flies in your direction.


{Grab it!! Hurry!!}


You grab it as fast as you can, then Chara yank the rope making you able to land on the ground. But not without a painful feeling on your right shoulder and arm.


{(y/n)!!! Idiot!!!}


Chara floats to you and hit you with her hands like a child who is upset. but even if she hits you with all her might you can't feel it, because her hands pass right through you.


{You made me worried sick!!!}


She sobs, you laugh nervously and apologize for making her worried. She looks at you with wet eyes, but then you smile to her. And thanking her for saving you


{Idiot!!}


She turns around and folds her arms on her chest.


"heh... what an idiot"


The sudden voice makes you turn, but you don't see anyone. And suddenly you have a terrible feeling. Chara turns to you.


{Come on, at least we made it to the other side}


You look around you, she's right. You are on the other side, you stand up and continue walking despite your injured arm. You think that it'll wears off eventually. After a few steps something catch your attention, it's a building?. You decide to come near it.


{Ah, this is a guard post. Smiley tras- i mean my friend, used to stay in this post}


You examine the abandoned wood guard post, it has crack on it's pillar and looks like it'll fall appart in any moment.


{Yeah... now nobody is guarding this post}


You check the inside of the post. There are ketchup bottles everywhere. You search around it a little more and found a tattered blue coat.


{Heh... that trash- i mean my friend seems to forgot his coat}


You examine the coat, even if it's kind of tattered, it seems you can use it to warm your freezing body. But then you look at Chara who is shivering. It seems that ghost can also feels cold.


{Ah, i know... why don't you put it on? It'll be better than nothing}


You asked Chara if she feels cold.


{Me? Cold? No Way! I'm Ghost remember? *hacho!!!*}


She's a terrible liar. You offer her to wear the coat.


{W-wha? Don't mind me! I'm already dead, but you don't put it on, you'll probably going to freeze to death!}


You chuckle and tell her a joke that if you died then you'll be able to stay here with her.


{.... that's a terrible joke}


You put on the coat into her. And ask her if it's better. She burry her face into the coat.


{Y-yes}


She seems to be blushing, you think it's kind of cute. But you don't want to tease her so you walk foward, she follow you from behind.


-A Few Puzzle Later-


You arrived at Snowdin town, the place where everything is abandoned. But the building seems to be still solid. Although the light is minimum. To put it in a simple way, it's like a ghost town.


{Well... it was a lovely place}


You walk around the town, you're feeling a little tired. Not to mention you're almost freezing to death.


{You seem tired, let's take a rest in smi- my friend's house}


Chara floats to the front of a home. You follow her and walk in. It's a nice home but the furniture seems to be scattered everywhere.


{Follow me!}


You follow her into a room with a sign on the door. It says "Papyrus". You come in to the messy room.


{Lay here}


Chara points her finger into a bed with car design. You lay on it and put the blanket on. You feel so much better now.


{Better?}


You nod, and ask her why is the town is so abandoned.


{Well, everyone only left for several months. The thing is, The Hallows destroyed this place}


Hallows? You kind of understand what she said, but you didn't know what exactly hallows are. So you ask her.


{Well... The Hallows... is, how do i say it? It's kind of negative feeling that reside in the underground}


Chara sits on the bed.


{Monsters are feeling desprate when they was trapped in the underground. And thoose feeling became one and create a scary creature. And that's the hallows}


{They come in many shapes, and usually a lot of them appear everywhere. But now, i can't even see one expect the one in the ruins}


Chara remembered something


{Oh yeah! How did you able to make the hallow disappear? I can't even do it. They usually don't respone to talking. And yet, you talked to them and they....}


She blush as she remembers the girl who cupped you.


{Anyway! How did you do that?, espcially thay you able to do it with a hallow that contains so much negative feeling. In fact, i've never seen one like thoose before}


You look at your hand. You tell her you didn't know how you're doing it. You didn't tell her when the girl turned into light it came right into you. You feeled a surge of power coming right into your soul.


{Well anyway, we can't stay here for too long. We have to move as soon as we have a rest}


You nod and tell her good night.


{Yeah good night}


You fell asleep. Chara lay down beside you and hold tight her coat.


{i'm glad that you're here}


She then fell asleep.

You wake up, and find Chara sleeping right beside you like a baby. You jump while blushing.


{AAAAH!!!, what happend!?}


You tell Chara that you're suprised that she slept beside him. Hearing this Chara blushes


{U-uh i'm just... ah forget it!!! We must move! Prepare yourself!. We must get going! I'll be waiting outside!}


Chara hastily floats outside with red face. You just chuckle a bit with your red face, seeing her action makes you feel comfortable. You then get up from your bed. You search around the room for useful items. Then you found a red scarf, this can keep you warm. So you put it on. but then something caught your attention. It's a piece of paper laying on the ground. You proceeds to grab it. Something is written on it.


[YOU'LL DIE SOON]


You suddenly have a terrible feeling.


{AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!}


Chara screams from outside. You're suprised and run outside. Your eyes widen as you see a boy is chocking Chara. The boy is wearing a headband and a gloves, and also have many scars and holes on hos body. Judging by the way he looks, you assume he's a hallow.


{Let Me GO!!! You stupid Hallow!!}


Chara seems to be struggling, you have to help her.


"I'll let you go... only if he can defeat me"


The boy let go of Chara and turn to you. Chara wants to float to you but somekind of liquid makes her stuck in the ground behind the boy.


{Ugh! What's this!?}


The boy smirk mockingly to you.


"So this is the one HE told me so much about.... he doesn't seems very strong"


He? Who's he? You aside that out of your mind. You think of a way to free Chara.


{(y/n) don't mind me! Just run! This Hallow is very strong! You can't beat him!}


You know you can't do that, you grasp your hand on your red tattered scarf. You walk foward and accept his challenge fearlessly.


"Trying To Be TOUGH?! DIE!!!!"


Your white soul popped out and the boy launch a barrage of fist projectile. You dodge it with all of your might because your life depends on it. But no matter how swift you are, you can't dodge the barrage of projectile he delivered. And Chara face turned pale when she sees your health bar dropping little by little.


"Come On!!! IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?! RRGHH... You pissed me... He said that you have amazing power. But i guess he's wrong."


Your health bar is now at 5. You're feeling weak, and fell to the ground.


"Heh... weakling like you must die!"


Suddenly a rock flies into the boy's head.


"What..?"


You looked at the one who threw it, it was Chara.


{Leave Him Alone!}


The Hallow seemed pissed, you had a bad feeling.


"I Guess... You're Asking To Be Killed Twice Huh?!"


The hallow shoots projectile to her. Some hit her and making her health bar drop a little.


No... you can't let her get hurt. You must do something you try to reach her with your weak hand.


{Ugh...}


"Goodbye First Child!"


The hallow is about to end her with his fist. She braced herself for the impact.


No...


NO!!!!


You try to stand up, but fail.


You must... save her...


"Use My Power"


You hear someone talking, suddenly you feel a surge a power cursing through your veins. Your health bar maxed and you know what to do.


The boy is about to hit Chara but a blue bone wall popped out from the ground making his attack stopped at mid air and he leaps back.


"What?! Where did theese come from?"


The boy turned to you and his eyes widen to see you standing with your light blue soul.


"Haha... i see what did he mean by that!"


Chara looked at you and her eyes widen too.


{(y/n)?}


You flick your hand to the side and blue bone walls start covering the area with you and him inside, leaving Chara outside.


{Wait! (y/n)!! What are you doing?!}


"heh... so you want a one on one battle?"


You raise your fist and nodded.


"That's more like it!!!"


You rushed to him and try to punch him.


SMACK!!


You hit him but he seems don't take any damage, he punch you back. You flinch a little then punch him back.


It goes on and on for a while. You punch him and he don't take any damage and you gets punched by him and taking some damage.


"Hey..  why don't you stop?"


He say while dodging your punch.


"YOU CAN'T DEFEAT ME!!!"


He punched you in the stomach which making you kneel down in pain.


"I don't understand... why are you trying so much?"


You stand up once more and look at the hallow in the eye. You say you tried so hard is because you wanted to protect the one you cared about.


The hallow smirk a little.


"Well then... i'm going to put you down... for good!"


The Hallow charged at you, but you just stand there.


"DIE!!!"


The hallow raise his fist and about to punch you.


SMACK!!!!


"agh..."


You punched the hallow in the face before he can hit you making him impaled to the bone walls. This time, the hallow takes a damage which makes his health bar drop to 1.


"What?! How can it be?!"


You are not afraid of dying if it's for protecting someone you care so much.


It fills you with...


BRAVERY


Your eye is now glowing with orange color. Seeing this the hallow eyes widen.


"So... that's why huh...?"


You walk to the hallow. He puts on a desprate face.


"What are you waiting for? Kill me..."


You nodded to the side, and offer him a hand.


"What?...after what i done to you...?"


He seems to be in disbelief. So you pull his hand with force to make him stand up. His eyes is even wider now


"You... what are you?"


You offer him a fistbumb. Seeing this his eyes is now sparkling with tears and a stream of tears is flowing down on his face.


"Thank you...for forgiving me"


He accept your offer. You say it was okay then he turned into orange aura which went inside you.


Your soul glow orange for a while then turned back to white.


The bone walls disappear and Chara is waiting for you outside while crying. She then notice you and floats to you.


{IDIOT!!! HOW MANY TIME DO YOU HAVE TO WORRY ME?!}


You just chuckle while she bury her face into your chest.


{I-i'm just glad that you're okay}


You tell her that you too are glad to see her okay.


{Idiot}
